Gypsy Skirt – Drema Hall Berkheimer

Twice each month, I’m lucky enough to spend time with some writers who make my life better, with their good company and their commitment to writing a better page. One of those writers who always make me smile is Drema Hall Berkheimer. She recently had a great story published at Persimmon Tree Magazine, titled Gypsy Skirt.

Drema is working on a memoir, Running on a Red Dog Road, about growing up in West Virginia, the child of a coal miner who was killed in the mines, a Rosie-the-Riveter mother, and devout Pentecostal grandparents.
